The cranberry has been grown in Coos and Curry Counties since 1885. Farming has changed since then…it has become more precision oriented and environmentally friendly.
Oregon Cranberries provides a safe, delicious product that we are proud to deliver to the companies we grow for.
The Industries relationship with our government officials has also strengthened over the years and now works in conjunction with officials to make sure their product is in compliance with all state and federal guidelines.
Through the years, cranberry farming on the Southern Oregon Coast has survived many challenges. Today the industry is as strong as it was when Charles Dexter McFarlin came to Coos County, from Massachusetts’s, and planted his first cranberry.
